
December 2: The 2025 SGA-BFG Junior Golf Series wrapped up its nine-month season on a high note at Sentosa Golf Club, where Kok Kian Foo and Amelie Ng – both 13-year-olds – were crowned A Division Order of Merit champions.
The finale marked the culmination of more than 30 events held island-wide, supported by a strong line-up of hosting clubs including Changi Golf Club, Keppel Club, Orchid Country Club, Sembawang Country Club, Warren Golf & Country Club, and Mandai Executive Golf Course.
In the B Division, Khaleed Elffy,10 and Sydney Ng, 9 claimed overall honours, while Frederick Seng, 8 and Nellie, 7, secured the C Division crowns.
With their victories, Foo has qualified to be part of the SGA Junior Development Squad, which Ng – already in the squad and who also topped the 2024 Order of Merit — placing them firmly on the pathway towards representing Singapore.
Lawrence Ng, co-founder of BFG Golf, said the series continues to deliver meaningful competitive opportunities for young golfers across the country.
“This year’s series reaffirmed the value of providing consistent, high-quality competition for our juniors. Since the season started in February, we’ve seen how regular tournament exposure helps them grow in confidence and sharpen their skills.

Anthony Maniam, Chairperson of the SGA Junior Development Sub-Committee, praised both the collaboration and the talent emerging from the series.
“Developing junior golfers remains a core mission for SGA, and the SGA-BFG Junior Golf Series has continued to set a strong foundation. The performances we’ve witnessed this season show that Singapore has a deep pool of promising young talent. We look forward to continuing our work with BFG Golf to help more juniors progress along the high-performance pathway.”
To further strengthen the ecosystem, SGA and BFG Golf have also committed to a new scholarship programme aimed at supporting junior golfers in their developmental journey toward future elite competition.
