Mr Joshua Ho
General Manager

Joshua was appointed General Manager in July 2022. He was also the High-Performance Manager since 2019, and was later appointed as Acting General Manager in 2021. A former Singapore national golfer from 2009-2019, some of his notable achievements include clinching a gold for the team event in SEA Games 2017, as well as being a Meritorious Awardee of the Singapore Sports Awards in 2018.

Evan brings a wealth of experience in organising large scale professional sporting events in various field from Golf, Tennis and Football across Asia, Europe and Africa. During his time with IMG golf, Evan has led the event operations team in major golf tournaments such as the HSBC Women’s World Championship, Asian Tour International Series and the Trust Golf Asian Mixed Series.

Mr Ong Kian Hui

With over 35 of years golfing experience behind him, and affectionately known as ‘Uncle Ken’ to many of SGA’s junior golfers with his Golf Rules instructional videos in SGA’s online Golf:SG publication, Kian Hui’s roles also include handling all aspects of Handicapping, Rules, High Performance training & various local and overseas Tournaments.

Mr Murray Smit
National Coach

A member of the Professional Golfers Association of South Africa, Murray was recognized as the PGA of South Africa’s National Coach of the year in 2021 and have won the Regional Coach of the year award (Western Cape) for the last three years. With an excellent track record of developing players, having worked with six Sunshine Tour Professionals (3 are currently in the top 40 of the Sunshine Tour OOM), the top ranked male junior in South Africa, the 2021 SA Women’s Amateur Strokeplay Champion as well as well as numerous players who have represented their provinces, gone to top colleges in the USA or formed part of the various GolfRSA National squads, Murray’s appointment as National Coach at SGA will be to further the development of elite golfers at a junior, amateur and professional levels for Singapore.

Mr Joshua Shou
Assistant National Coach

Joshua was appointed Assistant National Coach in April 2022. A former National golfer from 2007-2017, he represented Singapore in numerous major tournaments over his career, such as the SEA Games, Asian Games and World Amateur Team Championship. Some of his notable achievements include clinching the Gold Medal in the Team event of the 2017 SEA Games and winning the Singapore Open Amateur Championship in 2012. He turned professional in 2018 and played on the Asian Development Tour and the China Tour.

A Chartered Accountant since 2005, Thiam Guan has many years of experience in Corporate Finance, having worked at listed companies in property and retail, as well as in non-profit organisation.

Ms June Karina

June has substantial experience in operations having worked with and in different departments and industries, planning and coordinating events. She looks after all SGA major tournaments (junior & open events), as well as administering all aspects of events from pre-planning, determining resource needs, pre-event marketing, onsite coordination, to post event follow up.

Mr Wong Woon Liong

The first and only Golf Genius TM Certified Professional in Singapore, Woon Liong manages all aspects of organising junior golf tournaments locally, SGA Future Squad players and outreach activities to elevate the number of golfers in Singapore. He is always looking for ways to improve the players’ tournament experience.
