Mr. Desmond Tan
Patron

Desmond is the Senior Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office and the Deputy Secretary-General of the National Trade Union Congress (NTUC). He oversees NTUC’s Transformation and Training Department, which plays a pivotal role in driving business transformation and workforce development. He was elected as a Member of Parliament since July 2020 and is currently serving in Pasir Ris-Changi Group Representation Constituency (Pasir Ris Central).

Before holding his current position in June 2022, Desmond was the Minister of State for Home Affairs and Sustainability and the Environment from July 20 – June 22. Prior to joining politics, Desmond spent over thirty years in the public service. He was the Chief Executive Director (CED) of the People’s Association (PA) and held various key appointments in the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and the Singapore Armed Forces. These included Chief of Staff (General Staff), Director of Joint Operations, Chief Guards Officer and Director Public Affairs.

Desmond graduated from the University of Manchester, U.K. with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Aeronautical Engineering in 1994. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Nanyang Business School and Masters of Arts in Defence Strategic Studies. He enjoys sports including golf, and loves spending time with his family. He is married with 3 children.

Mr. Lee Lung Nien

Lee Lung Nien brings more than three decades of international experience in banking, corporate leadership, and sports governance. He currently serves as Citi Country Officer for Singapore. Beyond his corporate leadership, Lee brings valuable experience in international sports governance and a strong understanding of the role sport can play in bringing communities and stakeholders together.

Mr. Mark Choy
Vice President

Mark Choy is a partner at one of Singapore’s largest law firms, where he co-heads the Private Equity and Special Situations practice groups. A practicing lawyer since 1999, he also serves as an Independent Director on both listed and unlisted companies in Singapore. Mark is an avid golfer and tennis player. He has represented Singapore in the Davis Cup and won a team bronze medal at the Southeast Asian Games in 1995.

Mark is a member of the General Committee of the Singapore Island Country Club ( SICC) and also serves on the Island Golf Course Redevelopment Project Committee.

Mr. Allan Teo

Allan Teo is a senior business leader with more than 35 years of experience in governance, strategic planning, infrastructure development and project delivery across Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region.

His career includes senior leadership positions in major international organisations. He is a Professional Engineer in Singapore and Malaysia, as well as an Accredited Checker in Singapore.

Within the golf community, Allan is actively involved in club governance, serving on the General Committee and Greens Committee, with additional experience in course redevelopment, clubhouse redevelopment and procurement oversight

 

Mr. David Ong
Honorary Treasurer

David Ong is a former multi-sport athlete who represented Victoria School and Victoria Junior College in football and hockey, and was named Sportsman of the Year at Victoria School for his athletic performance, leadership and contribution to school sports. David is currently the Group CEO of CapAce Corporate Services, where he oversees financial governance, internal controls, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Mr. Christopher Chiu

Christopher Chiu is a veteran of the branding and creative industry. He has held senior leadership positions including Chief Creative Partner at J. Walter Thompson Singapore, CEO and Chief Creative Officer at Leo Burnett Singapore, and Vice President (Creative and Content) and Head of Brand at Mandai Wildlife Group. He currently serves as Club Captain of Tanah Merah Country Club. He also led Brand, Creative and Intellectual Property Development at Mandai X.

A long-standing advocate for the development of golf, Chris has served on the SGA’s Marketing and Communications Sub-Committee since 2019, supporting its efforts to grow and develop the game in Singapore. He brings his experience in brand, creative and strategic leadership to golf governance, with a focus on strengthening the profile of the sport and its tournaments.

Mr. Darryl Wee

Darryl Wee is the Club Captain of Sentosa Golf Club and the Managing Director of The RBL Group. With a strong leadership presence in both golf and business, Darryl is dedicated to driving excellence and fostering growth in all his endeavours.

Mr. Anthony Maniam

Anthony Maniam is the current Club Captain of Keppel Club. He was previously Vice-Captain at Keppel from 2020 to 2023. Having spent over 10 years in the maritime Industry, Anthony is currently a Chartering Manager with an International Dry Bulk operator. He played a lot of golf in his junior days and has a strong passion to continue to grow the game for the local community.

Mr. Lam Zhiqun

Lam Zhiqun is an accomplished golfer who represented Singapore at multiple international events, including the 2009 SEA Games, where he won a silver medal in the men’s team event.

A five-time Singapore Island Country Club (SICC) Club Champion, Lam is also the Club Captain of SICC, who has contributed actively to the Club’s development and governance, previously serving as Deputy Chairman of the Island Golf Redevelopment Project Committee and Chairman of SICC’s 60th Anniversary celebrations.

He strives to create an enjoyable and supportive environment that encourages participation, teamwork, and the continued growth of the game within the club.

Ms. Chia Siang Pio

Chia Siang Pio is an accomplished Singaporean public service professional and corporate trainer. A PSC Scholar with an Honours degree from the National University of Singapore, she held key roles at MINDEF and WDA before joining the Civil Service College, where she has served as an Associate since 2010. She served as Lady Captain of the Singapore Island Country Club (SICC) from 2021 to 2023 and is the current President of the Singapore Ladies Golf Association (SLGA).

Chia has also represented Singapore as Team Captain at the Queen Sirikit Cup and at the Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation (APGC) Senior Amateur Championship in 2024 and 2025.

Ms. Jen Goh

Jen Goh is a former national golfer who competed in the 2015 Southeast Asian Games, where she clinched bronze in the team event. A past champion of the Singapore National Amateur Championship and the Singapore Ladies’ Golf Association Amateur Open, Jen works with donors and non-profit organisations to build thriving communities at The Majurity Trust, a philanthropic organisation focused on addressing unseen needs in Singapore through data-driven methods.
