SGA has opened nominations for the Athletes’ Commission (AC) for the term 2026-2030, with a mission to represent the views of national golfers.
The AC shall comprise of no more than five elected members, who are either past of present national golfers, including the Chairperson who must be a former national golfer. The Chairperson of the AC shall be appointed as an Executive Board member with voting rights and shall represent the AC in the Executive Board until the expiry of his/her term as Chairperson of the AC.
To be eligible for nomination and appointment to the Athletes’ Commission, the candidate must be at least 18 years of age (only candidates applying for appointment as the Chairperson of the AC need to be at least 21 years of age), be a Singaporean, must not have a criminal record and, have never been sanctioned for a doping offence.
The members of the AC shall be elected by national golfers who have represented Singapore in international golf competitions within the past twenty-four (24) months, who are at least 18 years of age.
