Singapore, August 7: The Singapore Golf Association (SGA) paid tribute to the individuals and organisations that have played a pivotal role in the growth of the game at the SGA Stakeholders’ Golf Day and Appreciation Dinner, held at Tanah Merah Country Club on Thursday evening.
The event brought together clubs, corporate partners, sponsors, volunteers, officials and key stakeholders in a celebration of the partnerships and shared commitment that continue to shape the future of Singapore golf.
The appreciation dinner also served as an opportunity for SGA to recognise the invaluable contributions of its partners, whose continued support has enabled the SGA to expand participation programmes, strengthen high-performance initiatives and elevate Singapore’s standing as a regional golfing.
With a robust golfing ecosystem in Singapore today, SGA reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with its stakeholders to build on the strong foundations established in recent years and create even greater opportunities for golfers of all ages and abilities.
The Association also expressed its sincere appreciation to everyone who has contributed to the development of the sport and looked forward to strengthening these partnerships as Singapore golf enters its next chapter.
SGA President Tan Chong Huat said these achievements were only possible through the collective efforts of the wider golfing community.
“This gathering is more than an opportunity to enjoy a round of golf together. It is a celebration of the partnerships, friendships and shared commitment that have helped shape the continued growth of golf in Singapore.
“None of these achievements would have been possible without the unwavering support of our valued stakeholders. Together, we have strengthened the foundations of Singapore golf, guided by a shared vision of growing the game, nurturing future generations and ensuring golf remains inclusive, sustainable and accessible to all.”
