Singapore will be hosting the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship (AAC) from 4 – 7 October 2018 for the second time. Previously hosted at Singapore Island Country Club in 2011, the 10th AAC will be played at Sentosa Golf Club, New Tanjong Course. Sentosa Golf Club is no stranger of hosting major golf tournaments. The New Tanjong was redesigned in 2016 by Mr Andrew Johnston and Mr Matt Swanson. It has since then hosted the first Women’s Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship and HSBC Women’s Champions earlier this year. The AAC has been hosted in nations and territories across the Asia-Pacific region, including China (2009, 2013), Japan (2010), Singapore (2011), Thailand (2012), Australia (2014), Hong Kong (2015), South Korea (2016) and New Zealand (2017).
