Singaporeans Abroad: Chen finishes T13 in Japan
Tokyo, August 18: Chen Xingtong wrapped up her campaign at the Japan Junior Golf Championship with a tied-13 finish, seven shots adrift of eventual champion, Anna Iwanaga of Japan in the 12-14 Division on Friday.
The 14-year-old closed with a final round two-under-par 70 in the 54-hole strokeplay event for a three-day total of five-over-par 221. She had posted earlier rounds of 76 and 75 at the Tokyo Golf Club.
In the Boys’ 12-14 Division, Troy Storm signed off with a 74 after rounds of 78 and 74 to end his week in a share of 25th place with Yoshiya Yamasaki.
