
Singapore, 13 July 2017 – SEA Games team member Gregory Foo has maintained a comfortable lead of 6-strokes after Day 3 of the 70th Singapore Open Amateur Championship. Carding a total of 204 (69, 66, 69), Foo has placed himself well going into the final day.
“I’m feeling excited and ready to go out again tomorrow. I’m definitely going to stick with the same mindset and game plan the last three days and not get ahead of myself.” said Foo.
Climbing up the leaderboard, Malaysia’s Ervin Chang shot a respectable 69 to place second overtaking Thailand’s Kosuke Hamamoto by one stroke.
As for the Team event, Team Thailand is leading the field of 11 countries with a two-men total of 424 after three days. Team Singapore follows closely behind at second place, only three strokes behind and Team Australia at third with a total of 436.
