Singapore, 12 July 2017 – Gregory Foo of Singapore takes the lead to with a comfortable 5-stroke lead after day two at the 70th Singapore Open Amateur Championship. The 24-year-old shot a fantastic bogey-free round of 6-under 66 today.
Trailing behind is Kosuke Hamamoto who carded a 69 today to jump from fifth position to second, while Malaysia’s Ervin Chang sits at third. Yesterday’s leader fell to sixth position today when he returned with 76 today. Marc Ong shot 73 today to finish at tied fourth.
For the Team event, Team Singapore (282) sits at the top two strokes ahead of Team Thailand (284). Team Myanmar is at third (294) and Team Australia (295) one stroke behind at fourth.
