Foo Fights for Singapore Open Amateur Championship Success

Gregory Foo will be bidding to write his name into Singapore golfing folklore when he tees-off in this week’s 70th Singapore Open Amateur Championship.

On the heels of his victory at last month’s Vietnam Amateur Open, Foo has cemented his spot inside the top-100 in the R&A’s World Amateur Golf Ranking.

Now ranked as the 76th best male amateur golfer in the world, Foo will arrive at the Singapore Island Country Club’s (SICC) New Course with genuine ambitions of becoming the first Singapore-born player to win the national title on two occasions.

Since capturing the crown for the first time in 2015, Foo has matured into a complete player.
