Jonathan Wijono and Sifat Sagoo claimed the 10th Warren-MST Amateur Open for the Men’s and Women’s division respectively. They both won by three shots from their nearest competitor.
Member of the Indonesian Asian Games team, Jonathan shot a final round 67 (4-under) to win from behind against the joint runner-up Abdul Hadi and James Leow of Singapore to win by three strokes. He finished a tournament total of 2-under. Overnight night leader Lucius Toh struggled to recover after a quadruple 9 on the second hole. A final round 76 (5-over) settled him for a fourth-place finish.
Member of the Indian Golf Union, Sifat led throughout the tournament and won fellow countrywoman Ridhima Dilawari by 3 strokes. They both carded a 74 in the final round. Finishing joint second runner-up are Ida Ayu Melati Putri and Rivani Adelia Sihotang of Indonesia who both lost to Sifat by 5 shots. Best performing Singaporean was Callista Chen who finished sixth with scores of 81,75,70.
