The Singha Thailand Junior World Golf Championship was held at the Royal Hua Hin Golf Course. This year, the Boy’s A Division winner was Magcalayo Jolo Timothy from the Phillipines who shot 73, 80, 70, 71 (294) and won by a single stroke over India’s Sunhit Bishnoi 77, 76, 73, 69 (295).
India’s Pranavi Urs took top honors in the Girl’s A division with scores of 74, 71, 74, 75 (294) to win by six strokes over South Korea’s Seo Yeon Hong who shot 77, 77, 78, 68 (300). Finishing 2ndRunner Up (on count back) is Thailand’s Natthakritta Wongtaveelap with scores of 76, 79, 72, 73 (300).
Best Singapore performer was Development Squad member Hailey Loh who finished eighth with rounds of 78, 78, 74, 78. Other notable local performers are SGA Junior Squad members Ng Wei Jun, 83, 75, 82, 76 (316) and Darryl Low 81, 80, 82, 74 (317) who finished seventh and eighth respectively in the Boy’s B Division.
