
Since the initiation of SGA’s High-Performance Program in 2016, it has seen numerous success in national and junior golf development. Earlier this year, SGA strengthened its program by hiring full-time National Coach Matthew Ballard and the set-up of the High-Performance Training Centre at Laguna National Practice Facility. Adding on to the current program, SGA is pleased to announce the appointment of Joshua Ho, 25 years old, recently graduated from the Singapore Management University with a Bachelor of Business Management (Marketing) as High-Performance Manager.
A former Singapore National golfer and SEA Games Team Gold medalist, Ho’s experience and lessons learnt in his competition years as well as balancing an elite athlete school life will certainly help mentor our Singapore squad golfers. Ho will work closely with National Coach Matthew Ballard and provide the required mentorship for our golfers.
Jerome Ng, General Manager of Singapore Golf Association is thrilled to announce Joshua’s appointment to the role. “Joshua will bring a wealth of experience as a former player to the role of High Performance Manager. His comprehensive knowledge of the local sporting culture and educational system, will ensure our athletes to compete at the highest level while managing the growing demands in school both locally and overseas.”

Joshua will officially take on the role effective 1st October 2019.
