The third round of the HSBC Youth Golf Challenge just concluded at Singapore Island Country Club. It was a tight affair in the Girls B Division between SGA squad players Angel Lim, Jaymie Ng and Jillian Kuk. Angel Lim shot a +8 over par 80 to win the Girls B Division by just a single stroke over Jillian Kuk who also shot a +8 over par 80 to finish second. Jaymie Ng was also close behind after shooting a +9 over par 81 to finish just one stroke behind Jillian in 3rd place. In the Boys A Division, Brandon Han secured victory after shooting a +3 over par 75 to finish 8 shots ahed of nearest competitor Jay Gould-Healey. Eng Wei Jin shot a +6 over par 78 to finish just one stroke behind Jay. Shayne Lim won the Girls A Division comfortably after firing a +4 over par 76. She leads nearest competitor Kavya Keshav by 14 strokes. In the Boys B Division, Daryl Low ended the week by firing a +3 over par 75 to win the division by 13 strokes. Second placed Aryan Singh shot an 82 to finish at solo 2nd position.

The second round of the HSBC Youth Golf Challenge at Singapore Island Country Club saw a turnaround of events as Ng Wei Jun put up a great number today, a +4 over par 76 today to tie first place with yesterday’s clubhouse leader Brandon Han in the Boy’s A division. Current third placed Jay Gould Healy is trailing by just two shots after shooting a second round of +12 over 84.
In the Boys B Division, Daryl Low shot an identical +8 over par 80 to lead Aaditya Alok by 5 shots. Aaditya bettered his round of +12 over par 84 yesterday by shooting an 81 to stay within striking distance of the leaders.
In the Girls A Division, Shayne Lim is clubhouse leader and sits comfortably with 9 shots separating her and current second place Kavya Keshav.
It is a close affair for the top three positions in the Girls B Division. Clubhouse leader Angel Lim shot another round of 83 to to remain just one stroke clear of Jillian Kuk and Jaymie Ng who are currently at joint second placed.

Today was also the first round of the 2019 HSBC Youth Golf Challenge – 1st Leg played at Singapore Island Country Club, Sime Course. Many familiar faces were seen and newer ones spotted in this week’s challenge.
SGA National Squad player Brandon Han leads the Boys A Division by two strokes after his opening round of +5 over par 77. Second place Jay Gould-Healy followed with +7 over par 79.
In the Boys B Division, SGA Development Squad player Daryl Low shot a +6 over par round of 78 to lead Aryan Singh by two strokes.
In the Girls A Division, Shayne Lim leads the field by seven strokes after an opening round of +10 over 82. Lastly in the Girls B Division, Angel Lim opened her scoring with a +11 over 83 to lead fellow Development Squad Player Jillian Kuk by 4 strokes.
