Round 3
SGA Development Squad players battled hard for the 3rd and final round at the GAC Honda 2019 China Amateur Open in Sichuan, Chengdu, China. Andre Chong finished off the week on a high after recording a 2-under par 70 (69, 75, 70, 214 total) to settle for 6th place for the tournament. Daryl Low ended the week in 12th place after his 3-over par round of 75 (72, 72, 75, 219 total). Justin Kuk improved his score again in the third round after firing an even par 72 to finish the competition in T16th place (78, 74, 72, 224 total). Shang Yu recorded a 3-over par round of 75 (77, 77, 75, 219 total) and managed to finish in T7th position.

2nd Round
SGA Development Squad player, Daryl Low followed his consistent form yesterday with another round of even par 72 to remain at T8th place, nine shots behind the leader. Tied with him is teammate Andre Chong who posted a 3-over par 75. Both are at even par for the tournament. SGA Development Squad player Justin Kuk bettered his round from yesterday by recording a 2-over par 74 to return to the clubhouse in T18th place.
In the Girls Division, Shang Yu posted a similar score of 5-over par 77. She is in T12th position heading into the 3rd round tomorrow.

1st Round
SGA Squad players are competing at the GAC Honda 2019 China Amateur Open in Sichuan, Chengdu, China. Andre Chong got off to a great start after firing an opening round of -3 under par 69 to place him in tied second place, just one shot behind the leader. Fellow Development Squad member Daryl Low also had a solid first round, returning to the clubhouse with an even par 72. He is in tied 10th place. Justin Kuk is in 28th place after shooting a 6-over par 78.

In the Girls’ Division, Shang Yu recorded a 5-over par 77 after the first round and is at tied 12th place. Unfortunately, Linette Chua had to retire from the competition due to illness.
Players have to work extra hard on their putting this week as the greens are proving to be rather tough with several undulations.
