Round 4 

The Australian Amateur has officially come to an end.

SGA National Squad player Ryan Ang gathered his fighting spirit and carded an impressive two-under par 70 in his final round for a four-round total of nine-under par 279.

“Overall I had a great week! It was a strong field this week on tough courses and I was pleased to notch a top 5 finish! I played to my strengths this week and stayed patient throughout even though I wanted the win but I’ll keep pressing on and find small marginal gains to improve my game,” Ryan expressed. Ryan added that he will be taking a short break to recharge and start to work on his game again in line with the next upcoming event.

SGA National Squad player Daryl Low signed off his round with a four-over par 76 for a four-round total of one-over par 289.

“I feel like this week really opened my eyes to the importance of ball control and course management in windy and difficult conditions. My performance could definitely have been better but i’m still glad to have finished with the scores i’ve had. For now i’ll be taking a month or two off to work on my swing and short game especially before the next string of events come up,” expressed Daryl .

Round 3

SGA National Squad member Ryan Ang carded a three-over par 75 in his third round and has a three-round total of seven-under par 209. He is currently is Tied 6th with Australia’s Jeffery Guan, Lukas Michel, Sam Jones and United Kingdom’s John Gough. Ryan shares that he will continue to focus on his strategy for the final round.

SGA National Squad member Daryl Low had a great round of two-under par 70 and a three-round total of three-under par 213. Daryl expressed he is satisfied with his round of golf today and will maintain his good play to the final round.

In the ladies’ division, SGA National Squad member Aloysa Atienza recorded a six-over par 80 and a three-round total of 230.

The final round of the Australian Amateur will be played on the 13 January 2023.

Round 2

The round 2 of the Australian Amateur is in the books!

SGA National Squad player Ryan Ang continue his streak with an impressive five-under par 67 and has a two-round total of ten-under par 134. He is currently Tied 1 alongside with New Zealand’s Kazuma Kobori. SGA National Squad member Daryl Low had a solid round as he completed his second round with a two-under par 70 and has a two-round total of one-under par 143.

Ryan shares he will continue to focus on his strategy and stay present for coming rounds.

In the ladies’ event, SGA National Squad member Aloysa Atienza carded an even-par 74 after her second round. She has a total two-round of three-over par 150 which leaves her in Tied 36th with Australia’s Ella Scaysbrook and Kate Mcfarlane. SGA National Squad Player Inez Ng completed her round with a two-over par 76. Unfortunately, she missed the cut after a two-round total of +11.

Round 1

Team Singapore is all geared up and competing at the Australian Amateur held at St. Michael Golf Club and New South Wales Golf Club.

SGA National Squad member Ryan Ang is in Tied 1^st after he fired a stunning five-under par 67 after his opening round. He is in contention with Australia’s Connor McDade, Kai Komulainen, Harrison Crowe and England’s John Gough. SGA National Squad Daryl Low got off to an solid start with a one-over par 73 after his first round.

Ryan expressed that he is happy to be in contention after the first round, he will continue to focus and strive his best for the coming rounds.

SGA National Squad member Aloysa Atienza and Inez Ng opened their accounts with a three-over par 76 and nine-over par 82 respectively in the ladies’ event.
