Round 4

Abu Dhabi, October 21: Singapore’s trio of Ryan Ang, Hiroshi Tai and Troy Storm ended their challenge for the Eisenhower Trophy at the World Amateur Team Championships with a strong finish. Tai signed off with a 65 while Ang closed with a 67 to give Team Singapore a final round total of -12 per day was tied low score for the week.
36 nations had competed in the 72-hole stroke play tournament where two of the lowest scores from each country’s two or three players counted towards each round. United States of America took home the trophy with the winning total of 540. Singapore shared 29th place with Austria.

Round 3

Team Singapore moves two places up the leaderboard to 32rd place ahead of India, Zimbabwe, United Arab Emirates and Guam as Ryan Ang (71), Hiroshi Tai (72) and Troy Storm (75) continued their campaign at the World Team Amateur Team Championships in Abu Dhabi.

Round 2
A much improved performance from Hiroshi Tai and Ryan Ang as they returned with matching one-under-par 71s after the second round of the World Amateur Team Championships where they are competing for the Eisenhower Trophy. Troy Storm, meanwhile, signed for a 78 after carding an opening 76.

Tough opening start in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, October 18: Tough opening start for our men’s team as they got their challenge for the Eisenhower Trophy underway at the World Amateur Team Championships in Abu Dhabi. Team Singapore is currently in 34th place ahead of United Arab Emirates and Guam on the leaderboard where France and United States of America currently share the lead at nine-under. The World Amateur Team Championships is a 72-hole stroke play competition. Each country fields two or three players with the two lowest scores counting per round.
