Abu Dhabi, October 24: Singapore Golf Association (SGA) would like to congratulate Serapong Course at Sentosa Golf Club for winning the three following awards at the 10th annual World Golf Awards which was held at the Radisson Blu Hotel Yas Island in Abu Dhabi:
1. World’s Best Golf Course
2. Asia’s Best Golf Course
3. Singapore’s Best Golf Course
The Serapong is the first course in Asia to claim the award and has been the host venue of many prestigious International events in Singapore including the Singapore Open and HSBC Women’s World Championship.
SGA would also like to congratulate Laguna National Golf Resort Club for being awarded the best golf hotel in Asia and Singapore.
SGA is equally honoured that its partners Titleist and Footjoy were recognised as the world’s best golf club brand and the world’s best golf shoe brand respectively.
The World Golf Awards is the leading authority that recognises and rewards excellence in golf tourism, world-class courses and golf destinations. Votes were cast by golf industry professionals, the media and the public, with the nominee gaining the most votes in a category named as the winner.
