Mr. Desmond Tan
Patron

Desmond is the Senior Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office and the Deputy Secretary-General of the National Trade Union Congress (NTUC). He oversees NTUC’s Transformation and Training Department, which plays a pivotal role in driving business transformation and workforce development. He was elected as a Member of Parliament since July 2020 and is currently serving in Pasir Ris-Changi Group Representation Constituency (Pasir Ris Central).

Before holding his current position in June 2022, Desmond was the Minister of State for Home Affairs and Sustainability and the Environment from July 20 – June 22. Prior to joining politics, Desmond spent over thirty years in the public service. He was the Chief Executive Director (CED) of the People’s Association (PA) and held various key appointments in the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and the Singapore Armed Forces. These included Chief of Staff (General Staff), Director of Joint Operations, Chief Guards Officer and Director Public Affairs.

Desmond graduated from the University of Manchester, U.K. with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Aeronautical Engineering in 1994. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Nanyang Business School and Masters of Arts in Defence Strategic Studies. He enjoys sports including golf, and loves spending time with his family. He is married with 3 children.

Mr. Darryl Wee is the Club Captain of Sentosa Golf Club and the Managing Director of The RBL Group. With a strong leadership presence in both golf and business, he’s dedicated to driving excellence and fostering growth in all his endeavours.

Anthony is the current Club Captain of Keppel Club. He was previously Vice-Captain at Keppel from 2020-2023. Having spent over 10 years in the Maritime Industry, Anthony is currently a Chartering Manager with an International Dry Buk operator. He played a lot of golf in his junior days and has a strong passion to continue to grow the game for the local community.
