National Squad Player Brandon Han recorded an awesome round of 1-under 71 to finish the Thailand Junior Golf Championship in 4th place. Brandon had two bogeys and a birdie on the front nine, however he followed that up with a solid back nine that included two birdies. Huge shoutout to Jillian Kuk for posting a 1-over par round of 73. What a way to finish the week! With the School Holidays around the corner and a host of tournaments lined up , our players will be using the experience they chalked up this week for the challenges ahead!

Round 3 of the Thailand Junior Golf Championship concluded today and a couple of SGA Squad players are making a move to the top of the leaderboard!
National Squad player Brandon Han shot an even par round of 72 to propel him to 4th place in the Boys A Division. His game is looking sharp and he will be ready for the 4th and final round tomorrow. He sits just 2 shots back of 3rd place Gene Chaikangwal of Thailand.
In the Girls A Division, Development Squad Player Shayne Lim put on a great effort by firing a 3-over par 75 to place her in 4th position coming into the 4th round.
In the C Division, Junior Squad player Brayden Lee battled hard but could only manage a +14 over par 86 in the 3rd and final round. He finished the tournament in T8th place, a very impressive feat given that he faced stiff competition from players from South Korea, Japan and Thailand. Jayden Loh shot a +8 over par 80 to close the competition and finish in 13th place, while Guo Jun Xi shot a +7 over par 79 to finish the Girls Division in 6th place.

What a 2nd round today for SGA squad players at the Thailand Junior Golf Championship! Brayden Lee is in stellar form as he shot another round of 4- over par 76 to tie for the lead heading into the third and final round in the Boys C Division. Guo Jun Xi shot a 9-over par 81 in the second round as is currently in 6th place.
Irvyn Tan shot an +8 over par 80 and finds himself in 8th place in the Boys B Division.
Shayne Lim found her form again and returned to the clubhouse with a superb 1- over par 73. She is currently in 7th place in the Girls A division. Another player who had a great round was National Squad player Brandon Han who carded a 2-over par 74. He is also in 7th place heading into the thir round tomorrow.

After the first round at the Thailand Junior World Golf Championship, only 4 players in the field finished their rounds under par. The greens are proving to be a challenge this week. Junior Quad player Brayden Lee shot a +4 over par round of 76 and is currently in 3rd position in the Boys C Division.

A group of SGA National, Development and Junior Squad members are competing in this year’s Thailand Junior World Golf Championship at the Royal Hua Hin Golf Course in Hua Hin, Thailand. Our players had to endure a 3 hour bus ride to Hua Hin after the flight to Bangkok but nevertheless they are eager and ready to tackle the challenges ahead. The Golf Course is known for its tight fairways and slick greens.
