As Singapore marks her milestone anniversary, Keppel Club also played its part in the national celebration by hosting a vibrant three-day event aimed at promoting inclusivity and accessibility in golf.
Supported by the Singapore Golf Association (SGA), the Keppel Club Community Golf Festival 2025, held from July 31 to August 2, was a landmark initiative that used golf as a bridge to connect communities, encourage participation, and celebrate unity through the sport.

Day One of the festival kicked off with dedicated golf clinics led by SGA squad members. The clinics were specially curated for persons with disabilities, the underprivileged communities, and their caregivers, offering a rare, hands-on introduction to the sport in a safe and welcoming environment. Around 120 beneficiaries from various charities took part in this meaningful experience.
On Day Two, the spotlight turned to fun with a “Jurassic Park”-themed Fun Game on the Sime Course.
Featuring whimsical surprises and playful elements, the event reimagined the golfing experience, aimed at repositioning the sport as a social, entertaining, and inclusive one.
The festival concluded on Day Three with the inaugural Pesta Sukan Golf Tournament, where golf was introduced for the first time since Singapore’s independence.
Mr Masagos Zulkifli, Minister for Social and Family Development, graced the occasion as Guest of Honour and represented his Tampines Group Representation Constituencies (GRC) in the team event.
A total of 11 GRCs and four Single Member Constituencies (SMCs) participated in the tournament.
Radin Mas SMC emerged as the inaugural team champion, posting a winning score of 167, with standout rounds of 79 and 88 by Hoo Min Chit and Ang Poh Yeow Sam.
