
Singapore SEA Games Golf players Gregory Foo and Marc Ong charged up the leaderboard on the second day of the SEA Games Men’s Individual competition at the Mines Resort and Golf Club in Kuala Lumpur to take the joint lead of the Men’s competition, together with Thailand’s Kosuke Hanamoto.
Both Gregory and Marc shot identical second day scores of 67 to take the joint lead with a cumulative two day score of seven under of 135. Gregory and Mark are followed closely by Thailand’s Kosuke Hanamoto, who also has a two day score of 135, and first day leader Kammalas Namuangruk, is two strokes back with an aggregate score of 137. Singapore players Joshua Shou is in ninth position with a two day one over score of 143 (73, 70) and Joshua Ho is in 19th position with a two day score six over score of 148 (76, 72).
The third day of Men’s Individual competition promises to be an exciting affair with everything to play for, with 7 players (from four different countries) within six strokes of the lead.
In the Women’s Individual competition, SEA Games Singapore player Callista Chen fell back two places to 13th position with a two day eight over score of 150 (74, 76), fourteen strokes off the lead which is currently at 6 under. Singapore players Jacqueline Young, maintained her 16th position from the first day with a two day score of 10 over 152 (75, 77) and Sarah Tan is still at 19th position with a two day score of 19 over 161 (83, 78).
