Women’s Amateur Asia Pacific 2019

April 24, 2019

The Women’s Amateur Asia Pacific golf championship has been developed by the R&A and Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation to uncover the next golfing sensation from the region and to provide Asia’s elite female amateurs exposure to international competitions.

The champion earns invitation to play in two major competitions – the AIG Women’s British Open and The Evian Championship, as well as an exemption for the Augusta National Women’s Amateur.

The inaugural championship which was staged at Sentosa Golf Club, Singapore last year was won by Thailand’s Atthaya Thitikul.

For this year’s championship held at the Royal Golf Club in Japan from April 25 to 28, Team Golf SG has sent a group of players to compete with the very best in the region. Members of the team are National Squad players, Jen Goh, Calista Chen, Shannon Tan and Hailey Loh. We would like to wish the players all the best this week. Fly the National Flag High Girls!
