Round 2
Final round of the 8th Singapore National Senior Amateur Championship (SNSAC) has concluded.
Men’s Division saw Jimmy Aw emerge victorious with a two day total of five over par (147). Starting the day one shot behind the leader Tan Lee Hong, Jimmy followed up his first round of three over par (74), with a fiery two over par (73) in the final round.
Alvin Sim had a remarkable final round of one over par (72) to finish with a total of eleven over par (153) to clinch second position, one shot ahead of Tan Lee Hong who came third.
In the women’s division, Norlia Embong successfully defended her title with a final total of twenty-four over par (168), nine shots ahead of second place Jasmine Chew.

Round 1
Round 1 of SNSAC has concluded today, held in conjunction with the SNAC at Warren Golf & Country Club.
In the men’s division, Tan Lee Hong takes the lead with a two-over 73, ahead of Jimmy Aw who shot a 74 (+3) and Henry Choo who shot a 77 (+6).
Women’s division saw defending champion Norlia Embong shooting a 85 (+13), two strokes ahead of Chan Jean and Sara Law whom both scored a 87 (+15). “I had a lot of three puts actually and I think the putting is quite tough,” said Norlia with hopes of a better game tomorrow.
