Brandon Han, HSBC Youth Golf Challenge 2018 Overall Champion
Brandon Han, SGA National Squad Member, is the Overall Champion of the HSBC Youth Golf Challenge 2018 series. Han also took home the top honors for the Boys A Division with a 3-day cumulative score of even par 216 (73,71,72). Aidil Nor Amani surged to the 2nd spot on the last day with a combined score of 10-over 226 (79,75,72).
In the Boys B Division, Daryl Low, SGA Development Squad Member, refused to let go of the top spot and ended his HSBC Youth Golf Challenge 3rd Leg campaign with a score of 9-over 225 (71,77,77). Ng Wei Jun, Low’s teammate in the Development Squad, finished 7 strokes behind Low, 232 with a score of (75,78,79).
Sara Lee of Australia entered the 3rd round of the Challenge 3 strokes ahead of Shang Yu in the Girls A Division. But on to the last round, Lee scored 2-over 74 and finished with a comfortable 9 stroke lead 219 (70,75,74) against Shang’s 228 (73,75,80).
Jillian Kuk, another SGA Development Squad Member, overtook 2-days leader Gwen Tan and took home the Girls B Division trophy. Kuk’s 3rd round score of 3-over 75 sealed her win and pull 3 stroked ahead of Tan.

SGA National Squad member, Brandon Han, climbed to the top of the leader board after the 2nd round of the HSBC Youth Golf Challenge 2018, 3rd Leg. Han posted a 2-day cumulative score of even-144 (73,71). Overnight leader, Eldric Lim, slipped one place down with a 2-day score of 7-over 151 (71, 80).
Daryl Low and Sara Lee continue to dominate the leader board of the Boys B and Girls A Divisions respectively. Low returned a round 2 score of 5-over 77 totaling his 2-day scores to 4-over 148 (71,77). Lee, one of the 5 foreigners in the field, ended her 2-day campaign with a cumulative score of 1-over 145 (70,75).
In the Girls B division, Gwen Tan maintains her lead with a 2-day cumulative score of 16-over 160 (78,82). Guo Junxi (88,80) and Jullian Kuk (81,87) will try to catch-up with both girls posting a score 8 strokes behind Tan.
The field has been narrowed down and the top 60% players for each division will advance to the final round.
The 3rd and final round will continue tomorrow, 22 March 2019, at NSRCC, Kranji Sanctuary Golf Course.

The 3rd and final leg of the HSBC Youth Golf Challenge 2018 started today, 20 March 2019, at NSRCC Kranji Sanctuary Golf Course. 72 junior golfers, boys and girls, are vying for the division titles at stake.
Leading the Boys A division is Warren Golf & Country Club’s Eldric Lim returning an impressive score of 1-under 71. Following closely are Emerson Boon and SGA National Squad member Brandon Han with an identical score of 1-over 73. On the other hand, Boys B division is led by Daryl Low, SGA Development Squad member, posting a score of 1-under 71. Four-strokes behind is SGA Junior Squad member, Ng Wei Jun, with a score of 3-over 75.
Meanwhile on the Girls Division, Sara Lee of Australia posted the best score of the day, 2-under 70. Singapore’s very own, Shang Yu is not far behind with 1-over 73. Leading the pack for the Girls B division is Gwen Tan with a score of 6-over 78.
